Zwischen is a solo-performance with words and movement on an empty stage. Hild describes a scene and by moving and speaking she transfers an imagined moment into the presence. The performer mediates between the audience and what there is. The mission of the work is a constant attempt to bridge the invincible gap between thought and experience, between here and there. In the moments when the actions and words traverse reality and an imagined scene becomes reality, only to fall milliseconds after again and only a trace of an imagined situation is left in the space, but the concept reverberates still between the empty places, that had just become alive. The zone is between real and imaginary, material and immaterial, between the concrete and the abstract, between word and emptiness, the creation of reality through the manifestation of words.
